本日は少し毛色を変えて、アイスランドの作曲家・演奏家であるオーラヴル・アルナルズ（Ólafur Arnalds）が2021年12月21日（冬至の日）に捧げた演奏を下記のとおり掲載しておきます。彼はこう云います。

To celebrate the winter solstice this year we decided to try something a little different. Sunrise Session II features my friend Josin on vocals and 13 wonderful musicians from the Reykjavík Recording Orchestra.

On this shortest day of the year, this is our tribute to brighter days ahead and I truly hope you enjoy it.

今年の冬至を祝福するため、少し変わったことをしようと考えました。私の友人であるジョシン（Josin）をヴォーカリストに、そしてレイキャビク・レコーディング・オーケストラより素晴らしき１３名の演奏家を迎えて「Sunrise Session II」を開催します。

この１年で最も短いといわれる冬至の日に、この演奏を、さらに素敵な未来のために捧げます。たのしんでいただけることを祈ります。
