先日，ここ（カニエ・ウェスト，遂にオペラ開催予告！）で記載いたしましたとおり予定通りカニエ・ウェストとその仲間たち，いや，今回は「その仲間たち＝Sunday Service クワイヤメンバーたち」が主役で，ニューアルバム『Jesus Is Born』がクリスマスにリリースされました。

リリース日は，クリスマス，つまり．イエス・キリスト（Jesus Christ）が誕生したとされる12月25日。アルバムタイトルは今年10月25日にリリースされた『Jesus Is King』ではなく，『Jesus Is Born』。その内容は，クワイヤ（＝教会のゴスペルメンバー；聖歌隊）がカニエ・プロデュースによる「賛美歌」を歌うというもの。ソウルフルな楽曲を聴いて，気分を上げるにはもってこいのアルバム。ゴスペルだからって日曜日の朝にかぎらずとも，平日の朝でも気分は「BLESSED!」，恵まれた気分。

聴くだけで，御利益ありそうな，縁起の良いアルバムです。
