2019年を年始から年末まで，絶え間なくイエス・キリスト（Jesus Christ）への賛美歌を歌い続けたカニエ・ウェストとその仲間たち（Kanye West & Sunday Service Choir Team）へ第3位を捧げます。

毎週日曜日はたとえ1日足りとも休むことなく開催し，けっきょく2019年，1年間ぶっ続けで“Sunday Service”をやり遂げることとなりました。もはやヒップホップ歴史上，そういったラッパーは前代未聞でしたし，他のジャンルでもそんなことは聞いたことがなかったです。

2010年代（The 10’s）の最後の年である2019年は，カニエ・ウェストとそのクワイア・チームへその忍耐力と継続力を称え，2019年の第3位を贈ります。

2017年はヒップホップ史上偉大なるアルバム『DAMN.』をリリースしたケンドリック・ラマー（Kendrick Lamar）の年と云われました。2018年はアルバム『More Life』や『Scorpion』をリリースし，「Kiki! Do you love me?」の社会現象を引き起こしたドレイク（Drake）の年と囁かれました。そして2019年は，カニエ・ウェスト（Kanye West）だけでなく，カニエをとりまく（entourageの）“Sunday Service”クワイヤ（コーラス隊）のみなさまの1年であったと，ここに自信をもって確信したいと思います。彼女達の忍耐力及び継続力（consistency）はまさに尋常無いものでした。

カニエ・ウェストとクワイア・チーム仲間たちの2019年開催“Sunday Service”シリーズについてはこちらを。

日本のTVコマーシャルでも芸人・渡辺直美とも共演したジェイムス・コーデン（James Corden）とのAirpool Karaokeにも度肝を抜かれました。（本物の飛行機の中でフライト中に“Sunday Service”開催！）

そのキッカケとなったのは，この映像。（きっと安定飛行のときにされたのでしょう。）

2019年のカニエ・ウェストの“Sunday Service”は合計52回以上開催された計算になります。ある週には日曜日に加えて金曜日にも開催されるという異例の“Sunday Service on a Friday”（ややこしい！）も開催されたことがありましたので，52回という数字は確実に超えます。

日曜日に加え，金曜日にデトロイトで開催された“Sunday Service”は，今でも私の個人的なfavoriteなのですが，こちらでした。

そして，ヒューストンの刑務所で囚人の目の前で開催したこともありました。

なお，“Sunday Service”を一つの作品として作り上げ，一番まとまりを持たせたのは11月3日に開催された”Sunday Service Experience – Jesus Is King”でした。

4月のイースター祭（Easter Sunday）には全米最大級のミュージック・フェス＝コーチェラ音楽祭（Coachella）において，2019年初めて公に向けた“Sunday Service”も開催されました。これについても当時リアルタイムに当サイトで取り上げましたので，詳しくは，上記ページから検索してみてください。
